When Is The TSH Test Recommended?
For identification of Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Thyroid tumors, Grave and Hashimoto diseases, Thyroiditis, Thyroid nodules, and Thyroid cancer.

A high level of TSH Hormone in the blood indicates an underactive thyroid gland 

Common symptoms of a high TSH level – Swelling on the neck and face, Thin hair, Weight gain, Depression, Intolerance to cold, Fatigue, Fertility problems, Disturbance in the menstrual cycle, and Dry skin.

A low level of TSH Hormone in the blood indicates an overactive thyroid gland.
